Which translations are considered certified translations?

Which certified (*sworn /confirmed) translations are recognized in Germany?

In Germany, a translation is then considered as certified or sworn translation (technically: "confirmed translation") if it has been confirmed and certified by a translator who has been sworn or authorized as a translator for this language by one of the following courts in his region:

1- Higher Regional Court (OLG)

2- (in some federal states such as Lower Saxony or Bavaria) regional court (LG)

All certified translations made by Pars Lingua translators belong to these categories and are valid throughout Germany in accordance with § 142 Para. 3 ZPO.
